Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how NOVO Consultancy Limited and NOVO Architects Limited (together "NOVO", "we", "us") collect, use and protect personal data through our website novogp.com (the "Site"). We are headquartered in Hong Kong and work with clients and partners internationally.

• Contact details — when you use our enquiry forms or write to us (e.g. at advisory@novogp.com or hk-studio@novogp.com), we collect the information you provide: your name, company, email address, telephone number and the content of your message.
• Technical data — minimal, aggregated analytics such as pages visited and device type. Where practicable this information is anonymised and does not identify you personally.
• Cookies — see Section 7.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• respond to your enquiries and provide the services you request;
• manage our client, partner and business relationships;
• understand how the Site is used, so we can improve it; and
• comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell personal data. We will not use your information for direct marketing unless you have separately agreed, and you may opt out at any time.

We collect personal data fairly and lawfully, only for purposes directly related to our functions and activities (Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, Cap. 486 — Data Protection Principle 1). Providing your contact details is voluntary; if you choose not to provide them, we may be unable to respond to your enquiry.

We may share your information: within the NOVO group; with service providers who host or maintain the Site (under obligations of confidentiality); and where required by law or a court order. We never sell or rent your data.

Where personal data is transferred to another jurisdiction, we take reasonable steps to protect it in a manner consistent with this policy and applicable law. If you are located in Mainland China, your personal data will be handled in accordance with the PRC Personal Information Protection Law where it applies.

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures — including access controls and encryption in transit — to protect the data we hold.

• Analytics cookies — where enabled, help us understand aggregate usage so we can improve the Site.

You can disable or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the essential functions of the Site will continue to work.

Under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance you have the right to:

• request access to personal data we hold about you, and request correction of it (Data Protection Principle 6);
• opt out of any direct marketing communications (sections 34–38 of the Ordinance); and
• request deletion where we no longer have a lawful basis to keep the data (we will assess such requests in line with the Ordinance).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 10. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (privacy.org.hk / www.pcpd.org.hk).
